National Poetry Month!

Discover your inner poet! Adults (and young adults) are invited to submit a poem in the theme of What She Taught Me by NPR featured poet Marjorie Saiser. The winner will get an autographed copy of Saiser's book, Lost in Seward County. Visit any MPL branch for complete contest guidelines. 



Film Club!

CineMuncie is a film club featuring art, indie, and foreign films. This month's film is "Badlands" by Terrence Malick (USA, 1973), (PG). Wednesday, April 26 @ 6:30pm at Carnegie Library.


Golden Age of Gaming

Too young to remember the original Super Mario Bros? Have you only experienced Sonic the Hedgehog 2 through emulation? Then come check out this program where we will be playing classic games on classic hardware from NES to Genesis to N64 and much more. Featured this month: Super Nintendo. Wednesday, April 26 from 5-6:30pm at Kennedy.


Much Ado About Nothing

The evening will begin with a reduced adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing, performed by the Dead Shakespeare Society. This reading features and has been adapted by Ball State students and faculty and will be followed by a brief Q & A. Thursday, April 27 from 6-8pm at Kennedy.

Marvel-ous Game Day

Come down to Maring-Hunt's Meeting Room for our Marvel-ous game day. We'll be doing photos, playing games, and giving out candy and prizes. Come meet America's Cap'n and either side with the heroes or the super villains. Friday, April 28 from 5:30-7pm.

Come down to Connection Corner for our Marvel-ous game day, Win it with the Cap'n. We'll be doing green screen photos, playing games, and giving out candy and prizes. Come meet America's Cap'n and take part in a superhero training course. Thursday, April 27 from 3-5pm at Connection Corner.
