LH&G Research Request Form

We would be happy to assist you with your local history and genealogy research of Delaware County, Indiana.  Please use this form to submit your request. 

Research Fees and Notes:

• We provide access to records from the Delaware County, Indiana area.  Please include in your request what types of records you are looking for such as obituaries, newspaper articles, marriages, wills, probate records, divorces, burial records, and so on.  Remember to include relevant information such as names and dates in your request.
• We may include related information from areas outside of our county when appropriate; however, we do not provide the same in-depth or national genealogy research services that a certified genealogist would provide. 
• Pre-payment is not required - your research package will include a letter stating the amount due and instructions for submitting payment by check, money order, or credit/debit card. Payment is due upon receipt.
• Research fee is: $15.00/hour (pro-rated, $4.00 minimum) + $0.15 per copy + postage. The copy/postage fee does not apply when research results are provided by email.
• If we are unable to accommodate your request, you will be notified at no charge.
• Most requests are completed within 1-5 business days. Complex requests may require additional time. 
• We do not have access to original birth and death records/certificates; however, we have access to other resources that may provide birth and death information.
