In celebration of National Library Week and this year’s theme, "Find Your Joy," we’ll be inviting visitors to share how they experience joy in the library.

Children of all ages are welcome to join us for weekly craft time. Be crafty and take your creations home with you! Children under 8 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Students in grades 3 through 8 are invited to connect, learn, and grow together in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Join Club 641 for a field trip to Carnegie Library to chat with Library Manager & MPL Archivist Sara McKinley, look at the local and historical cookbook collections, and learn how cookbooks can be used as research and genealogy tools.

Stories, songs, rhymes, and more for our youngest story time friends and their caregiver!

Explore, create, and play at Tinker Tots! There will be three-four open-ended activity stations to explore at each monthly event. The stations will be based upon STEAM concepts and sensory stations.

Muncie Public Library Jubilee

The Friends of Muncie Public Library will hold a special pop-up book sale on Saturday, April 25 from 12 -- 4 pm. All ages are welcome and the sale is open to everyone--no Friends membership needed.

Celebrate the start of the gardening season at the 2026 Maring-Hunt Garden Kick Off Party. This is a free event open to the public (and all garden enthusiasts).
