Join us at Maring-Hunt Library for the Seventh Annual Scarecrow Festival!

Enjoy a story time, songs, and dancing for ages 3-5 and a caregiver!

After our Music & Movement Story Time, we will serve coffee and set up supplemental, creative play stations. Chat with other parents and relax with a cup of coffee while your kiddos have fun in the library!

Students will learn science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), and reading through hands-on activities and games. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.

An attorney from Indiana Legal Services, Inc. in Indianapolis will provide free and confidential legal advice.

Taylor Swift's 12th studio album "The Life of a Showgirl" is scheduled to be released on October 3.

Children of all ages are welcome to join us for weekly craft time. Be crafty and take your creations home with you! Children under 8 must be accompanied by a guardian.

K-Pop is a popular genre of music originating from South Korea. In this program, learn more about South Korea by listening to the music, competing in trivia related to the hit Netflix original movie K-Pop Demon Hunters, and more!

Teen Anime Night this October will feature creatures from popular anime. We will be doing a mimic craft from Frieran: Beyond Journey’s End and discussing our favorite creatures in anime!

The Muncie Public Library Board of Trustees will meet. All meetings are free and open to the public. When necessary, the MPL House & Finance Committee and Personnel Committee will meet.

Join us in The Fort to play some games! We will have our Nintendo Switch out along with board games and coloring sheets. 

Donate your gently used costumes and accessories to the MPL Halloween Costume Swap September 2 through October 11.  All donated costumes will be steam cleaned and sorted by size.
