This program highlights the life and enduring legacy of Abigail Adams. Through her letters to her husband, John Adams, she shared insights on independence, government, and women’s role in the new nation. Best remembered for her 1776 appeal to “remember the ladies,” Abigail Adams advocated for women’s education and legal recognition during the American Revolutionary War.
