Join us for a creative writing workshop inspired by the Muncie Big Read Book, Aimee Nezhukumatathil’s Bite by Bite. Sample tropical flavors, learn about the tropical plants that grow in the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse, and share stories celebrating your favorite foods.

Materials provided.

This workshop will be led by graduate students in Ball State’s Master’s in Creative Writing program. Together, participants will read excerpts of Bite by Bite and write stories and poems inspired by the book and plants in the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse. Each participant will receive a pen and a writing journal.

For ages 13 and older.
