Join us for a savory, creative writing workshop to capture the memories baked into your most treasured recipes. You’ll leave this interactive session with a collection of story-recipes as nourishing as the dishes themselves.

Bring cherished recipes and the memories they hold.
Leave with a story-filled cookbook and a deeper connection to your culinary roots. 

 

This workshop will be led by Kate Elliott, a lecturer of journalism at Ball State and a freelance writer/editor. She will help participants write the stories and memories that go along with favorite family recipes or passed down culinary traditions, to create your own Family Recipe Journal.  Each participant will receive a pen and a special BIG READ Journal to write in.

For ages 13 and older.
