Join Ball State PBS and Muncie Public Library for a free screening event and discussion celebrating Ken Burns’s latest PBS documentary, “The American Revolution,” on Tuesday, Dec. 2, starting at 4 p.m. at the Kennedy Library Meeting Room, at 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie, IN 47304.

“The American Revolution” examines how America’s founding turned the world upside-down. Thirteen British colonies on the Atlantic Coast rose in rebellion, won their independence and established a new form of government that radically reshaped the continent and inspired centuries of democratic movements around the globe.

Panelists for the discussion are as follows:

David Roof, Ph.D, Associate Professor of Educational Studies at Ball State University and Director of the Center for Economic and Civic Learning.

Ronald Morris, Ph.D, Chair and Professor of History at Ball State University.

Nicholas Miller, Ph.D, Assistant Teaching Professor Department of History, Ball State University
