The world if your oyster! Come and test out different art mediums with a giant buffet of art supplies. From crayons to yarn to paint to tissue paper, everything is up for grabs at this program!

Enjoy "Paddington in Peru" and free popcorn (while supplies last).

Experience different mediums of art as you move station to station in the Kennedy Meeting Room! Find your own unique way to create as you work with all the different art materials. This is a fun experience for anyone who likes to learn hands-on.

Watercolors can be just as fun and challenging as having a pet! Get creative in the Kennedy story room with a lesson in watercolors. Create a colorful painting of a dog, cat, lizard, fish, or bird, the pet of your dreams!

Join us as we make our own clay robots! We will be using a mix of metal materials and air-dry clay to create our robots. Once dry, teens will be able to paint them with materials they are able to take home. 

Join us, weather permitting, in the Garden area for a bubble party for adults!
Who says kids get to have all the fun?!
We'll make our own DIY bubble bath solution to take home, try out aromatherapy bubbles, make bubble art, and more!

Do you think you're funny? Come test out your comedy chops with some hilarious improv games and challenges. This is a space to be as goofy and silly as you want to be! 

Join us in the Garden to make some Nature Fairy Wands and other nature crafts, using materials found in our garden. 

Welcome to the Kennedy Cafe! Here, you can sample our colorful collection of books and try out new genres. Stop in anytime from 2 pm to 4 pm on July 12th to "taste" our different courses.

Let's provide homes for our feathered friends. Families will build and use paint or markers to decorate a colorful bird house to take home. While supplies last.

Children 7 and under must have a caregiver present.

Bring your own shirt to this event and we will provide the tie-dye supplies. Join us in the Kennedy green space and create your own colorful art to wear the rest of the summer!

This year's Summer Reading Program focuses on art and creativity with the theme "Color Our World." Join us at Carnegie Library for a local history panel presentation celebrating notable women artists from Muncie around the turn of the 20th Century
